Our saw carriage and frame design features a tight tolerance between the guide rails, the saw blade’s linear bearings and
the actual cutline which eliminates vibration ensuring a clean, sharp, high quality cut to the panels being processed.
Heavy-Duty Steel Frame
  • Heavy-duty steel with continuous stitch-line welding.
  • Anneal treated frame: heat treated and slow cooled to remove internal stresses, stabilize and strengthen the steel frame after welding.
  • Machined guide rail supports insuring a true parallelism of the saw carriage travel.
 
 

Saw Carriage:

  • Each ride on 2 linear bearing guide rails
  • 4 bearings support each blade mounting structure.
  • Manual hydraulic oil pump system at each bearing on the saw carriage.
  • Easy access allowing for quick scoring blade adjustments and quick blade changes.
  • Maximum dust extraction during the cut due to the guard around the blades being close to the main frame.

Quick-lock Saw Arbors:
Both main saw blade and scoring blade arbors are equipped with quick-lock tool change arbors.

Automatic Blade Height:
The signal from the linear actuator mounted on the pressure beam measures the thickness of the panels being cut. That signal is then used to set the blade height to 45, 80, or 115 mm blade projection.

Side Pressure Device:
The standard side pressure device is set by the saw carriage through the cut line. The side pressure device raises and moves forward on 2 sets of 90 degree angle linear bearings. Once the panels have been pressed against the crosscut fence, a signal is cycled, lowering the pressure beam on the panels then the pressure device retracts and lowers and the cut is processed thus producing a quick and reliable side pressure securing the panel against the crosscut fence.
 
 
Rear Panel Supports:
Large neoprene rollers with ball bearings ensures a smooth movement of the panels and free from marks.

  • 3200 mm: 9 panel supports
  • 3800 mm: 10 panel supports
 
 
Program Fence Drive Motor:
The AC servo drive motor and gearbox ensures a high speed and precise positioning of the program fence. Positioning and sizing is controlled by both the AC servo and digital magnetic tape guaranteeing a positioning of +/- 0.05 mm.
 
 
Grippers:
2 finger grippers on each clamp ensures a secure clamping action during positioning transferof stacked panels.
Aluminum inserts on each gripper are cut with the main blade, at the time of install, to ensure a precise third and
fourth face cut. By machining the aluminum insert of the gripper with the main blade, the cutline can be guaranteed
square across the entire program fence.

Safety Curtain:
The safety curtain runs the entire length of the cutline
to ensure safety of the operator and to control dust.
Operator machine interface through a Windows based industrial PC computer control with a touchscreen. Complete with board cut optimizer to minimize waste of product and maximize time efficiency. Open architectural programming compatible with all American software. Nonproprietary and supported in America. Optional label printing available. Real-time simulation of both saw and panel operation.
